Common Questions
Which AI Apps Can I Connect?
Whelpify includes guides for ChatGPT web, Codex desktop and CLI, Claude web and desktop, and Claude Code. Your AI account or workspace must support custom MCP connections. This feature is an early preview.
Can Changes Publish Without My Approval?
Yes, if you turn Require approvals off for that connection in Whelpify. Permitted actions can then run directly, including changes to published content. New connections start with approvals on; turning them off does not approve older pending requests.
Can My AI App Turn Off Its Own Approvals?
No. The owner of the connection changes that setting in the Whelpify dashboard. Automatic changes still follow the permissions you granted.
Can It Edit Everything or Complete Every Task?
It works with supported Whelpify fields and workflows. Some actions, including social account sign-in, card entry, and bank verification, require a browser step. It cannot install arbitrary code or themes.
Do I Share My Password in Chat?
No. Sign in on the Whelpify authorization screen. Do not paste passwords, tokens, or payment details into your conversation.
