Common Questions

Is this available to everyone?

This is an opt-in preview and may have bugs. Your Whelpify installation must have it enabled, and your ChatGPT account or workspace must allow custom MCP connections. Contact us if you need help getting started.

Can ChatGPT publish changes without my approval?

The preview prepares proposals. You approve them in Whelpify before they run. Approved published-page changes, messages and financial actions can take effect immediately.

Can it update my design?

It can prepare changes to page sections, supported section variants, typography, branding and navigation. It uses the options available in Whelpify; it does not install arbitrary code or themes.

Can it handle payments and billing?

It can propose supported billing settings, invoices, refunds and subscription workflows. Card entry, bank verification and checkout completion stay on secure provider pages.

Do I need to give ChatGPT my password?

No. Sign in on Whelpify’s authorization screen and choose permissions. Do not put passwords, connection tokens or card details in chat.

Can I help test the preview?
